Turner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments continues to innovate the standards in grab sample oil in water analysis—the TD-550 and TD-560 oil in water analyzers. The TD-560 includes the same optical channel found in the TD-550 along with a second channel for detecting lighter hydrocarbons, such as BTEX, gas condensates, gasoline, jet fuel, kerosene, transformer oils, styrene and phenol.
The TD-550 Oil in Water Analyzer features a greatly enhanced detection range (low ppb to 5000 ppm) that is especially well suited for crude and other heavy oils. Get quick readings of water samples in the field or a lab, using an easy-access sample well and UV light source. The integrated touch screen tablet allows you to save multiple calibrations, log and graph your data. The tablet also includes support documentation.
UV fluorescence sample analyzers with a deep ultraviolet light source have the needed sensitivity, fast preparation procedures and ease of use for measurement of light natural gas condensates in produced water. UV fluorescence’s compatibility with all commonly used extraction solvents and multiple preparation procedures available allows field operators to choose the method that is best suited to their operations. The linear response of UV fluorescence to oil concentration in water produces good correlation to laboratory methods used for regulatory reporting. When quick field analysis of oil, light condensates or refined fuels is needed, operators can confidently control their water processes with the TD-560 Oil in Water Analyzer.
